Recollection: Denise Tierney

Event Description

Nanaimo artist, Denise Tierney, will be exhibiting her latest series of work,
Recollection, at the Chapel Gallery in Victoria, May 6 - 15, 2022.

Denise Tierney works across a wide range of media to produce
two-dimensional and sculptural artwork. Her artistic practice is rooted in
memory (personal and collective), history, ritual and tradition. She
considers the transience of life and examines how experiences shape our
identity. Denise Tierney is a full-time studio artist with a degree in Visual
Art from Vancouver Island University. She works out of Pentimenti Art
Studio in Nanaimo BC.
