The BOB MORRISON ORCHESTRA is a ten-piece ensemble which performs a broad sampling of music from the Swing Era to more modern times. Well-known Victoria vocalist Sue Doman is an intriguing interpreter of jazz, ballads,and Broadway tunes. Her three-octave range and command of multi-lingual lyrics causes excitement whenever she performs. Musical styles include jazz, swing, rock, fox trot, waltz and Latin American rhythms, all played at recommended dance tempos. The orchestra configuration of three rhythm, three brass, and three saxophones provides the full sound of a big band but is much more affordable and allows for a comfortable fit into small and large venues. Our goal is to help make your event an unforgettable success.. The BOB MORRISON ORCHESTRA is the perfect size for any of your events, whether it be a dance for your club or organization, a wedding, a special birthday or anniversary, or a garden party. In consultation with you, we can draw on our extensive music library to design a programme which will please you and your guests. A specific theme, a favourite song, or tunes on the hit parade in a special year, are just a few of the possibilities to make the occassion memorable. The orchestra is completely self-contained, including a microphone which is available for use.
