Event Description

A shining example of power pop, Star Collector has been a staple on the Vancouver scene for over 5 years now. During this period they have released 3 critically acclaimed albums and have played at almost every live venue in Vancouver, in turn creating a vast fan base. A relatively new project, Magic Ass mix new wave with the sophistication of Steely Dan. Most recently they were featured in Georgia Straight's ‘Best of Vancouver' issue and are considered one of Vancouver's most promising combos . The Basement Sweets specialize in the sweet Brit pop melancholia of the early Eighties with the Smiths and Factory Records as a major inspiration. DJ Dacapo digs deep for eclectic selections that always get the party started.
