Event Description
The Gettin' Higher Choir is a "no audition," "All voices welcome" community choir that seeks to embrace & celebrate humanity’s highest aspirations through music, welcoming people of all ages and cultures. We are welcoming new members for our spring season from Feb 18 to 28.
Mondays – Feb 18 & 25
First Unitarian Church of Victoria,
5575 West Saanich Road (opposite the Red Barn)
Tuesdays - Feb 19 & 26 and Thursdays - Feb 21 & 28
Church of Truth,
111 Superior Street (at St. Lawrence Street)
We will have a half hour New Singer Orientation at 7:00 p.m. on each of the above evenings.
Our 17 starts the week of Feb. 18 and ends with back to back concerts on Jun 14 and 15.
Fees $175 (with financial support available if needed)
Our aim is to re-integrate singing into the daily routines of life. We sing for the pure joy and pleasure it gives us, in an atmosphere that is fun, relaxed, and accepting. Our repertoire consists of both traditional and new songs from many cultures.
