Event Description

Colorful dances, music, festival atmosphere, lots of fun things to see and do – it is all happening at the Victoria Hindu Temple in Saanichton on Saturday, August 22, and Sunday August 23, 11 am to 5 pm. There will be lots of activities for the entire family – women can learn how to wear sari, men can learn how to wear turban, kids and adults can learn Bollywood dancing. There is henna painting, children’s games, palmistry, arts and crafts. You can taste delicious Indian food. Free admission to festival and stage shows. Don’t miss this delightful festival of India, August 22 and 23. Victoria Hindu Temple and Cultural Center, 1934 Cultra Avenue, Saanichton.
