Event Description

Throughout the month of February at Esquimalt Serious Coffee, local artist Carron Berkes presents a diverse mix of acrylic, mixed media and watercolour paintings—which reflect her creative appreciation of realism, abstraction, landscapes and still lifes. The art show runs until February 28th. Free community event and suitable for all ages and family members.

Carron Berkes is a local artist who enjoys painting (acrylics and watercolours), mixed media, recycled art and found objects, sculpture and photography. Her many colourful themes include the natural world (plants, animals and landscapes), abstraction, figurative and whimsical narratives. Her art is in private collections in Canada, Germany and America.
