The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra will present a concert of innovative new music, including music by UK star Charlotte Bray, American Friederich Heinrich Kern, and VSO Composer-in-Residence Jocelyn Morlock.
You’ll also hear the world premiere of Pressed for Time, Mohamed Assani and John Oliver’s sitar concerto. Vancouver is an absolute hotspot for this type of intercultural collaboration.
As Bramwell Tovey concludes his 18 years as Music Director, the VSO continues to present passionate, high-quality performances of classical, popular and diverse music.
