Event Description

Find a wonderful selection of unique and varied artist created works at the Oak Bay Artists’ Studio Tour. Many of Oak Bay's established and emerging artists will use their homes and studios as backdrops to display original watercolour, acrylic, and oil paintings, fibre, photography, sculpture, and pottery creations. Free self-guided tour of individual artists' studios. Participants are invited to walk, bike, or drive the streets of Oak Bay at their own pace to view the art, meet the artists, and learn about artists’ inspiration and process. In addition to displays in home studios throughout Oak Bay, some participating artists will be showing their art in a shared space in the Neighbourhood Learning Centre (adjacent to Oak Bay High School) during the tour, in Activity Rooms 1 & 2, open to the public from noon to 4:30pm on Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22, 2018. There will also be a selection of works on display in the hallway of the Neighbourhood Learning Centre, from Friday, April 6 to Monday, April 30. The Neighbourhood Learning Centre is open Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.
