Event Description
The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria has been taking steps to examine its programming around accessibility for all communities. We understand that access needs are different for everyone and that these needs can also change every day. We are committed to offering meaningful access and services to make our institution and programs as accessible and barrier-free as possible, especially to those communities who have been historically marginalized by the colonial institutions called museums. We are also committed to spread ideas sparking accessibility and actions of creating barrier-free arts organizations throughout Victoria and BC.
This survey helps the Gallery determine what is missing from the Victoria arts community and how the AGGV and other arts organizations can help move forward.
