B.C.'s largest bluegrass and old-time music festival comes to Victoria for a special preview and launch party with The Barrel Boys. Door prizes include t-shirts and one weekend festival pass valued at $125. Making their West Coast debut, the Barrel Boys are a powerhouse Toronto five-piece string band fluent in classic bluegrass, old-time, classic country and Americana. Their repertoire, including original material, is informed by all these styles, making for a wide stylistic range within the band's sound. Don't miss this fresh and exciting band at the Victoria Event Centre. The Cowichan Valley Bluegrass Festival takes place June 17-19 at Laketown Ranch Music Park near Lake Cowichan.
