Event Description

Stella Daisy McCaig is an artist working in installation and video. She currently lives in the traditional and unceded territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən-speaking people of the Esquimalt, Songhees, and W̱SÁNEĆ, Victoria, BC. She completed a BFA in Honors of Visual Arts at the University of Victoria in the fall of 2023. The places she has exhibited include The Vault Gallery, UVic’s Audain Gallery, unceded territory Victoria BC, and Support Gallery Tiohtiá:ke-Mooniyang, Montréal QC. She has been featured in an online publication by TZVETNIK of her duo show titled Just to Please You 2022 with Theoren Johannessen. Two works of her writing have been published in STAR magazine, titled ‘PROBLEMS’ and ‘Ketamine Dream Girls’. She has curated two shows, one of which was the BFA graduating exhibition in 2023.
